WHAT WE DO
At Community180, we believe in turning hardship into hope. Our mission is to walk with families facing crisis, poverty, and transition—providing them with the resources, relationships, and support they need to rewrite their stories. From our HUG Houston initiatives that deliver everyday essentials, to youth mentorship and educational programs like PATH and Better Together, we are committed to empowering individuals to rise, rebuild, and reclaim stability. Through events, outreach, and year-round care, we create pathways toward lasting transformation—because everyone deserves a second chance, and with the right community, a breakthrough is always possible.
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
Community180 is more than a nonprofit—we’re a movement of transformation dedicated to rewriting stories and restoring hope. Every program we offer is intentionally designed to meet real needs while planting seeds of long-term change. From serving families with essential resources to mentoring youth, equipping parents, and creating community-wide events that bring people together, our work is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and action. We are committed to walking alongside those facing hardship and helping them turn the page toward stability, strength, and success. Through partnership and purpose, Community180 is building stronger communities—one family at a time.
Better Together Youth Program
PATH (Providing Assistance Through Hope)
Community Christmas
Giveaway
This summer and school-year initiative equips youth ages 14–18 with mentorship, leadership development, financial literacy, and career exploration. From college tours to community clean-ups and cultural enrichment trips, Better Together is about keeping teens engaged, inspired, and prepared to lead. Monthly workshops and one-on-one mentorship help guide our youth to become contributors—not just consumers—in their communities.
PATH is our year-round mentorship and academic support program designed to uplift students and families navigating hardship. Through hybrid tutoring, life coaching, and resource referrals, we provide personalized attention to help young people stay focused in school and families find their footing. PATH bridges the gap between crisis and opportunity.
Since 2020, the Annual Community180 Christmas Giveaway has been a beacon of hope and joy for more than 5,000 children and families across Southeast Texas. In partnership with Freestone Winery and SETX Toys for Tots, we’ve witnessed the magic of Christmas light up the hearts of those we serve. Every gift, every smile, and every moment of shared love brings hope and warmth to families who need it most. This is more than just a giveaway—it’s a celebration of community, compassion, and the unshakable belief that together, we can make the season brighter for all.
Disaster Response
In times of crisis and disaster, Community180 is at the forefront of response efforts. We are dedicated to providing immediate aid and support to affected communities, helping them rebuild and recover from the impact of natural disasters and unforeseen emergencies.
Spring Parent Alliance
The Spring Parent Alliance is a collective of local parents working together to improve the quality of life and educational experience within Spring ISD. This group hosts supportive events, fosters school-community partnerships, offers youth development training, and advocates for families facing behavioral challenges. We believe strong families create stronger schools, and through collaboration and action, we aim to build a safer, more supportive district for all.
HUG Houston
HUG (Helping, Uplifting, and Giving) Houston collaborates with agencies, community officials, and individuals to support families and unhoused individuals in need. With a mission to spread love and offer opportunities for change, HUG Houston serves as a breath of fresh air across the city, bringing hope to communities.
