Get ready, Houston. The HUG HTX Back to School Block Party is the city’s ultimate back-to-school experience—and it’s happening Friday, August 8th, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Harvest Church. Hosted by Community180, in partnership with local leaders, businesses, and government agencies, this high-energy celebration is rooted in our mission of Hope, Unity, and Growth—HUG—and we’re showing up in a major way for families who deserve the very best.
This is not your average giveaway—it’s a party with a purpose. Over 200 families will be served with free backpacks, school uniforms, shoes, and school supplies to help students walk into the school year prepared and proud. But that’s just the beginning. We’re serving up all the vibes with good food, family fun, and real resources to help our community win.
