About the event
Choose Up Southeast Texas is a community rally and solutions summit created to confront the rising concerns facing our youth, including drug usage, vaping, violence, truancy, and academic decline by strengthening families, aligning leaders, and mobilizing the entire community to move forward together.
This three-city movement brings together families, students, educators, law enforcement, nonprofit organizations, faith leaders, and city officials from across Southeast Texas and the Golden Triangle for one unified purpose: to create real, collaborative solutions that protect and empower the next generation. Rather than placing blame, Choose Up focuses on responsibility, prevention, and partnership, recognizing that youth outcomes improve when families are supported and communities are aligned.
The summit combines serious, solution-driven dialogue with tangible support. Through an engaging community forum, leaders and residents participate in meaningful conversation about what is impacting our youth and how we can respond collectively.
