It’s up, North Houston! We’re bringing the energy, the love, and the purpose all in one place on Friday, August 8th, 2025 from 1–4 PM and you already know it’s gonna be a whole vibe. The HUG HTX Block Party isn’t just a back-to-school event, it’s a movement. We’re hooking up 200+ families with free backpacks, fresh kicks, uniforms, and school supplies, plus serving good food, live music, games, and real resources to help folks level up.

We’ve got three zones holding it down: the Care Garden for the school gear, Resource World where you’ll get plugged into jobs, college info, childcare and more, and the Fun Zone to keep the party lit for all ages. This is how the city shows up and shows love—for the people, by the people.
